Versico is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with ROXUL® Inc., North America’s largest manufacturer of stone wool insulation products. This collaboration of two industry leaders will offer designers and building owners access to new and innovative roofing systems.
MONOBOARD® insulating coverboard and TOPROCK® DD insulation, now available for purchase through Versico, will be included in Versico’s roofing warranty programs for EPDM, TPO and PVC systems. Versico will also have access to the bitumen-coated MONOBOARD Plus and TOPROCK DD Plus products that provide an ideal substrate for Versico’s Hot-Mopped system, which incorporates VersiFleece® AC membranes. Systems using ROXUL products will include an option for a thermal warranty, which provides the assurance that the insulation’s R-value will not decrease for the duration of the system warranty.
Versico and ROXUL have also partnered to create the Acoustic 41™ assembly. This roofing system is designed to reduce noise entering or leaving a building. It has been tested to ASTM E90 and provides a Sound Transmission Class (STC) of 41, making it ideal for buildings in which sound attenuation is a concern. This assembly can also contribute toward LEEDcredits for Sound Attenuation in Schools (New School Construction).
